Grease Monkey of Kalispell & Evergreen is giving 50% of proceeds to this Montana Charity, operated by Montana State Elks Assoc. Kalispell Lodge 725 is hosting.

Grease Monkey and Kalispell Elks Lodge 725 are teaming up to raise money for the Montana State Elks Assoc. State Major Project: Aid to Rural Volunteer Fire Departments.
On June 7th both locations of Grease Monkey in the Flathead valley are donating 1/2 to the services sold on that day to the project. The local Elks will be on hand to answer questions and talk about the Elks.
Please stop in between 8 and 5 on June 7th and get your car serviced, you will be helping fund these vital volunteer fire departments in the State of Montana.
The purpose of the MSEA State Major Project is to provide monetary assistance for the purchase of equipment and training to better serve the community. Grant money is intended to improve safety and efficiency for Rural Volunteer Firefighters by providing funding for “necessary” equipment and training.
Most departments depend on donations raised through community activities. They rarely receive funding from taxes and if they do, the tax base is too small to adequately equip and train them for all situations.
These situations include emergency medical services, fires, weather, explosions and other hazardous situations. They must have the right equipment and training for the situation at hand.
