The Whitefish Bulldog Football team will be playing at home for the first time this season.
Friday night is the Home Opener for the Dawgs and they'll be playing host to the Corvallis Blue Devils.
The Dawgs enter the contest 1-1 on the season. Whitefish opened the season with a 27-7 win at Hamilton, week 1. They fell to Eureka 39-32 in week 2.
Corvallis is also 1-1 on the season. The Blue Devils would defeat Browning 50-12 to open the season but were shutout by Frenchtown, 42-0, in week 2.
Corvallis would make a deep run in the playoffs, a year ago, falling to Columbia Falls in the Class "A" Semi-finals by a final score of 19-7.
Last year, when the Dawgs and Devils matched-up, Corvallis would win a defensive slugfest 7-0.
This season Whitefish is averaging just under 30 points per game while giving up 23 a game.
Corvallis averages 25ppg and have given up 27ppg.
