With calm focus and competitive drive, Aiden Rickels and Karlee Brown have shaped the tone of Whitefish’s season.
As the season has progressed, Aiden Rickels and Karlee Brown have clearly separated themselves as leaders, and now, both have their teams focused on postseason success.
Rickels, team captain, got off to a slow start, but a 2-under-par 70 at the Polson Invitational marked a turning point. The personal best set the tone for the Bulldogs and helped spark a strong run through the second half of the season.
On the girls’ side, Brown has been Whitefish's No. 1 golfer from day one. Not only have the Whitefish girls won nearly every tournament they’ve entered, but Brown herself has claimed just about every individual title available: including a dominant win at the Hamilton Invite, where she finished 14 strokes ahead of second place.
With both teams trending upward and their top players in peak form, Whitefish heads into the postseason as a favorite to bring home hardware.
As the post-season push arrives, hear from Aiden Rickels, Karlee Brown and Head Coach of the Whitefish Golf team Scott Minton.
With Rickels and Brown leading the way, Whitefish has its eyes set on a title.
The Whitefish Golf teams will be in Hamilton for the Western "A" Divisional on Friday.
Both teams will head over to Sidney Montana, for State, the weekend of October 3rd and 4th.
