Semi-Final Showdown: Dawgs Vs. Broncs

On Friday, the Whitefish Bulldogs will head to Frenchtown to face off with the Broncs in the Semi-Finals of the MHSA Class "A" Playoffs.

This is just the 5th time since 2000 that the Bulldogs have played in the semi-finals.

The Dawgs made it back-to-back years in 2014 and 2015, winning the State Championship in 2015.

In 2002 the Dawgs lost in the sem-finals to Laurel.

Back in 2001 The Dawgs would make it to the State Championship, falling to Lewistown 12-9.

This year, The Dawgs are looking to make magic happen and return to the title game a decade later.

In their way, a gritty group of Frenchtown Broncs.

Whitefish (8-2) is the No. 2 Seed out of the Northwest with Frenchtown (9-1) the No. 1 Seed out of the Southwest.

Both teams have beaten Bigfork and Butte Central, this year, while the Broncs defeated Hamilton and Whitefish lost against Hamilton.
