It's been one wild ride in the Northwest "A" this basketball season.
We've officially hit February which means it's down to the home stretch for High School Basketball teams in the Treasure State.
Today an updated look at where the Whitefish Basketball teams stand with just six games left in the season.
The Whitefish Girls got off to a hot start in league play, starting 3-0 in conference contests for the first time in 20 plus years.
The Lady Dawgs have since gone 1-2 in league play.
Whitefish has conference wins against Polson, Ronan, Libby and Browning.
They have close conference losses to Bigfork and Browning.
The Lady Dawgs final 6 games are: At Ronan, Vs. Columbia Falls twice, At Libby, At Bigfork, Vs. Polson.
Whitefish is in a 3-way tie for 2nd place in the conference.
The top 3 teams automatically advance to the Divisional Tournament with the 4-7 seeds to compete in a Play-In Tournament to decide who will go to the Divisional Tourney as the No. 4 seed.

On the Boys Side the Whitefish Bulldogsa are currently have just 1 Conference win, entering February.
The Dawgs opened league play with a disisive victory against Libby but have lost 5 straight conference games since.
The Dawgs have a lineup featuring multiple juniors and a pair of seniors but their youth at the varsity level has showed.
Whitefish looks for Cooper Dudley to heal up and once he returns to the line-up, maybe that will be the boost the Dawgs need for a late season push.

The Whitefish Bulldogs return to action Thursday with both teams taking on Ronan. Boys at home, girls on the road. Catch the boys game live on air, tip-off at 7:15pm.
On Friday, it's the first cat-dog rivalry game of the 2025-26 basketball season as Whitefish hosts Columbia Falls for a double heaer. Girls at 6pm, boys to follow.
