Both the boys and girls Western "A" Divisional Basketball Tournaments came to a close over the weekend.
The Butte Civic Center would host the 3-day tournament that saw eight total teams advance to state, four teams on teh girsl side and four teams on the boys side.
On the Girls Side:
Bigfork would avenge an earlier loss in the season, as they defeated Frenchtown in the Title game by a final of 41-29.
Bigfork will be the No. 1 Seed out of the West at State.
Frenchtown will be the No. 2 Seed.
In the Consolation game Dillon would defeat Browning.
Dillon will be the No. 3 Seed at State with Browning the No. 4 seed.
On the Boys Side:
It was Hamilton defeating Butte Central in overtime, 73-64, to win the Divisional Championship.
Hamilton will be the No. 1 Seed at State with Butte Central the No. 2 Seed.
Columbia Falls would advance to the Consolation game and fell to Dillon but will be the No. 4 Seed at State with Dillon the No. 3 Seed.
The Class "A" State Tournament for both the boys and girls will take place March 7-9 at the Butte Civic Center.
