The Whitefish Bulldog Baseball team was back in action, Saturday, as they hit the road for a non-conference affair, at Ronan.
The Dawgs would secure a solid, bounce-back win, defeating the Chiefs by a final score of 7-3.
Brady Howke got the start for the Dawgs and pitched a solid 4 innings. He gave up 3 runs (2 earned) on 2 hits, walked 2 and struck out 3.
The Dawgs got on the board early, leading 2-0 after 1 inning of play.
Ronan would answer with 3 in the bottom of the 3rd and took a 3-2 lead after 3 innings of action.
The Dawgs would tie it back up in the top of the 4th and it was all Whitefish from there.
They would tack on 2 more in the 5th and 7th as they came away with the 4-run victory.
Tait Orme and Drew Queen each had a pair of hits to lead the way while Brady Howke had 2 RBI's.
In all, the Dawgs collected 9 hits on the day.
Following all the action, Whitefish is now 4-8 on the season, 2-3 in conference play.
Up Next: The Dawgs will play host to their arch rival, Columbia Falls, Thursday night at 5pm.
Then on Friday, the Dawgs play host to Browning for a Double header at 3pm.
All that action will be broadcast live on KSAM.
