Both Whitefish Golf teams were back in action, this week, as they took part in the Kalispell Invite.
The Kalispell Invite was a 2-day tournament taking place at both Village Greens (Wednesday) and Buffalo Hills (Thursday) Golf Courses.
The tournament featured both Class "AA" and "A" Schools across Western Montana.
The Whitefish Girls continued their torrid start to the season as they came home with the team title. The Lady Dawgs posted a team score of 151 over par, across the two days.
Karlee Brown led Whitefish with a solo second place finish and Ryhlee Scott finished 3rd. Caroline Owens was 12th.
On the boys side, the Bulldogs took 8th as a team. Aiden Rickels led the charge with a 20th place finish while Colby Minton finished 25th.
Polson Invitational / Monday Sept 8th.
To start the week, both Whitefish teams participated in the Polson Invitational on Monday.
Girls: Karlee Brown finished 1st with a score of 77, Ryhlee Scott was 3rd, Caroline Owens 7th and Ava Zignego was 15th. Girls team won the event by 23 shots over Dillon
Boys: Aiden Rickels finished solo 3rd with a -2 under 70. His first sub par round of the year. Nick Schmid-Somer finished 25th. Boys finished 8th overall as a team
Up Next: Both teams will travel to the Bitterroot Valley for the Hamilton Invitational on Sept 20.
