The 2026 Class "A" State Championship Golf Tournament took place over the weekend at Marias Valley Golf Course in Shelby.
The Whitefish High School Girls Golf team has won the 2026 State Championship.
The Lady Dawgs won the team title with 710 strokes. Fergus was 2nd with Corvallis 3rd.
This was the first State Title for Whitefish since they won back-to-back championships in 2014-2015.
By capturing the crown in Shelby, the Bulldogs secured the 19th state championship in program history. The Bulldog boys finished in 3rd place overall with 636 strokes. Billings Central was 1st with Polson 2nd.
Mason O'Neil led the way for the Dawgs with a 2-day total of 148 (4-over-par), to tie for 3rd place individually.
