Whitefish Girls Win 2025 State "A" Track Title, Boys 5th

    The 2025 State Track and Field Championship Meet took place at Legends Stadium, in Kalispell, last weekend.

    The Whitefish Lady Bulldogs won the State Title while the Bulldog Boys finished in 5th place.

    The Lady Dawgs won the Championship trophy with 74 combined team points. Havre was 2nd with 60 and Hamilton finished 3rd.

    On the Boys side, it was Corvallis taking the team title with 76 points, one more than 2nd place Frenchtown. Laurel finished in 3rd.

    This is the 6th State Title in program history for the Whitefish Girls and 1st since 2022.

    Taking a look at some of the top individual performers for Whitefish:

    Rachael Wilmot was a force for the Lady Dawgs. She led the way, winning the 100, 200 and 400. She also helped the 4x100 Relay team take 2nd and helped anchor the 4x400 Relay team to a 4th place finish.

    Ginger Bergland took 2nd in both the 100 and 300 Hurdles.

    Grace Sliman won the High Jump and Sol Holmquist was 3rd in the Javelin.

    Simon Douglas was the top performer for the boys, winning the 800 and took 2nd in the 1600.

    Douglas also helped propel the 4x400 Relay team to an electrifying 1st place win to close out the day.

    Riley Zetooney was 5th in the 100 while Colby Minton was 6th in the 200.

    Carson Gulick was 4th in the 110 hurdles and 5th in the High Jump.

    The 4x100 Relay team finished 4th.
