The Whitefish High School Fall Sport Season is officially unerway.
The Whitefish Golf team will be the first sport to officially begin practice as they get underway Thursday August 14th.
Football, Volleyball, Soccer and Cross Country begin practicing on Friday the 15th.
Taking a look at each teams schedule below.
FOOTBALL:
The Bulldog Football gets their regular season officially underway on Friday August 29th. The Dawgs will host the Havre Blue Ponies to open the season. The Railroad trophy is back up for grabs as this great non-conference rivalry game is renewed.
Whitefish will host Ronan for Homecoming on September 26th, to open conference play.
They will play their arch rivals, Columbia Falls, on October 10th, for Senior Night.
The Football team plays four of their first five games at home and are on the road for three of their final four.
VOLLEYBALL:
The Volleyball teams will be in Polson to open the season, the weekend of August 29th and 30th, taking part in the Northwest/Southwest Tip-Off Tournament.
Whitefish's first home match of the season is scheduled for Tuesday September 9th, playing host to Libby.
The Lady Dawgs travel to Columbia Falls on Tuesday September 30th. They'll be in Butte for the Butte Central Tournament on October 10th and 11th.
The Whitefish Volleyball team closes out the season on Tuesday October 28th as they host rival, C-Falls, on Senior Night.
SOCCER:
Both Soccer teams open the season on August 29th as they play host to Lockwood, at Smith Fields.
Homecoming is scheduled for Tuesday September 23rd against Libby.
Both teams will face rival, C-Falls, in Columbia Falls on September 9th.
Both teams host C-Falls on October 7th.
CROSS COUNTRY:
The Cross Country teams will open the season, at Libby, for the Libby Invite on Friday August 29th.
Whitefish has only one home meet and that's scheduled for September 23rd at the Whitefish Golf Course.
GOLF:
And the Whitefish Golf team has their first event scheduled for Monday the 18th. They'll be in Missoula for the Corvallis Invite.
Whitefish hosts the Whitefish Triangular on August 20th and the Western "A" Invite on Wednesday September 3rd.
