Whitefish High School Athletes Commit to Play Collegiately

On Wednesday, seven Whitefish High School Athletes officially committed to their respective colleges to continue their athletic and academic careers.

The Dawgs brought an entourage with them as they signed on to the next level.

Congratulations goes out to the following athletes for officially committing to their selected schools.

Heading to Montana Western for Football is Scotty Dalen and Carson Gulick.

Heading to Ottawa University in Arizona for Football is Riley Zetooney. Kaydence Blackwell is also going to Ottawa and will be playing Beach Volleyball.

Heading to Eastern Oregon for Baseball is Ryan Conklin.

Heading to George Fox University for Golf is Otto Klein.

Heading to Utah Tech for Wrestling is Landree Aurand.

Heading to Hawaii for Track is Rachael Wilmot.

Wilmot was not available for interview.

Rachael Wilmot was a force for the Lady Dawgs this season. At the Class "A" State Track meet, she led the way, winning the 100, 200 and 400. She also helped the 4x100 Relay team take 2nd and helped anchor the 4x400 Relay team to a 4th place finish.

In 2024, Wilmot would finish 4th at State in the 100M, 3rd in the 200M, 3rd in the 400M and helped both the 4x100 and 4x400 Relay Relay teams take 1st.

She was top 10 in the state in 4 events: The 100, 200, 400 and1,600 Meter Relay.

Landree Aurand was an anchor for the Whitefish Wrestling Team, in 2025, taking top marks in just about every meet he competed in. He competed at 144 Pounds his Senior Season.

Aurand won the Divisional Tournament Title. He then took 4th place at the 2025 State Wrestling Championship Tournament.

Otto Klein helped lead the Whitefish boys golf team to a 2nd place finish at Divisionals and a 4th place finish at State during the 2024-2025 School Year.

Klein shot a 9-over par (81) good for 14th at Divisionals.

Klein shot a 2-day total of 159 at State.

George Fox University is located in Newberg Oregon.

Ryan Conklin was a multi-sport athlete for the Dawgs playing both Basketball and Baseball.

In 2024, Conklin helped lead the Bulldog Baseball team to the State Tournament. He earned 2nd Team All-Conference Honors that season. He hit .333 his junior season with 3 doubles and 2 triples. He collected 10 RBI and scored 17 runs.

In 2025, Conklin helped lead the Dawgs to a 15-win season. He was one of the top hitters all year batting .480. He led the team in hits with 24 and was 2nd in doubles with 6. Conklin collected 14 RBI and scored 27 runs. Conklin had a .865 fielding percentage at Shortstop. He had 16 assists and 16 putouts.

Kaydence Blackwell has been a stalwart for the Whitefish Volleyball team her last 4 years.

She helped lead the Lady Dawgs to the regular season conference crown in 2025. The Lady Dawgs would go 12-2 overall, on the season. They finished 11-1 in conference play.

Blackwell was the teams primary Setter in 2025. She took home Honorable Mention All-Conference honors her Senior Year.

Zetooney really exploded onto the scene his Senior year, playing football and running track for Whitefish.

During the Football season, he helped lead the Dawgs to the quarter-final round of the playoffs.

Zetooney was named 1st Team All-Conference at Running Back for Whitefish.

Zetooney led the Dawgs in the backfield with 815 rushing yards on 94 carries, good for an 8.7 average per rush and collected about 74 rushing yards a game. He scored 6 Touchdowns.

His 815 rush yards put him top 15 in Class "A".

He also had 7 catches for 94 yards.

In track, Zetooney would finish 5th in the 100 at State for 2025.
