The Whitefish High School Winter Sports Season is officially underway.
Today, a look at each teams schedules, key matchups, live broadcasts, etc.
Whitefish Boys & Girls Basketball:
The Whitefish Basektball season tips-off, Friday and Saturday, December 12th and 13th in Frenchtown.
Both teams will be taking part in the Western "A" Tip-Off Tournament.
Both Varsity teams will tip-off, Friday, boys at 6pm girls to follow. Both teams will play again, Saturday, with the boys at 10am, girls to follow.
Please note: Due to Bee Broadcasting's annual Toys for Tots Camp Out for the Kids, these games will not be broadcast live.
The Whitefish Boys basketball team has their home opener, Tuesday the 16th, hosting Frenchtown while the girls are in Frenchtown. Varsity boys contest is scheduled to start at 7:15pm. That game will be broadcast live on 102.7FM and 1240AM Outlaw Country.
Both teams will be in Butte for the East-West Tip-Off Tournament, December 19th and 20th: On Friday, the 19th, they face Glendive with the Boys at 2:30pm, girls to follow. On Saturday, the 20th, they face Sidney with the boys at 11am, girls to follow.
Those games and the rest of the season contests will be broadcast live on Outlaw Coutnry.
Conference play starts against Libby on Thursday January 8th.
The annual Cat-Dog rivalry games are Friday February 6th and Tuesday the 17th.
The Northwest "A" Play-In games star Thursday February 26th.
Western "A" Divisional Tourney begins March 5th in Hamilton.
Whitefish Wrestling:
The Whitefish Wrestling teams opened their season December 5th and 6th, in Polson for the Owen Invitational.
Whitefish wrestling has just two home meets this season.
On Tuesday, January 6th, Whitefish will host Browning, Libby and Lincoln County for a 5pm Match.
They host the Whitefish Duals, on Friday, January 23rd.
The Western "A" Divisional Tournament is scheduled for February 13th and 14th, in Dillon.
The State Wrestling Tournament is the 18th-21st in Billings.
Whitefish Swim Teams:
The Whitefish Swim Teams will get their respective seasons underway this weekend, taking part in the Kalispell Invite.
Whitefish has just one home meet, this season. That's scheduled for Friday, January 30th at The Wave.
The All Class State Meet is scheduled for February 12th-14th in Great Falls.
