The Whitefish Boys Soccer team was in Billings, Saturday afternoon, taking part in the Class "A" State Soccer Championship match.
The Dawgs would fall at the hands of Billings Central, by a final of 3-2, finishing as the runner-ups in 2024.
The Dawgs would score the first two goals of the game, both thanks to Kyler Jonson. Billings Central scored just before the end of the half and Whitefish held a 2-1 advantage at the halftime break.
Billings Central would knot it up at 2 all late in the 2nd half and the match would go into overtime.
In the first overtime period no one would score.
Billings Central would then score in double OT to propel them to victory.
