The Whitefish Lady Bulldogs are headed to Hamilton for the Western A Divisional Volleyball Tournament, November 5-7, with their sights set on making some noise.
Whitefish wrapped up the regular season with a 9-5 overall record and a 7-5 mark in conference play.
The Lady Dawgs secured the No. 3 seed in the North West A standings, winning the tiebreaker over Columbia Falls. The two teams split their regular-season matchups, but Whitefish claimed the tiebreaker by finishing one point ahead in the overall point differential.
After a week of preparation, the Lady Dawgs are rested, hungry and ready to make a run in Hamilton.
Whitefish will open tournament play Thursday morning against Frenchtown, the No. 2 seed out of the Southwest. The Lady Dawgs already have some success against the Broncs, sweeping them early in the season, 3-0.
As Whitefish gets ready for the divisional tournament, hear from team captains Sofia Christ, Annabelle Barrile and Allie Shors as they preview the tournament, discuss the team's preparation and share what they're looking forward to this week.
The tournament journey begins Thursday as the Whitefish Lady Bulldogs take on the Frenchtown Broncs. First serve is set for 10 a.m.
