The Whitefish High School Track teams concluded their season at the 2026 State Championship Track Meet in Laurel.
The Whitefish Girls finished in 5th place as a team.
Havre won the girsl team title with Laureal winning the boys team title.
Ginger Bergland was on a mission, not only at state, but all season long.
Bergland tallied 29 points on her own at the State Meet.
Bergland took 2nd in both the 100 and 300 Meter Hurdles.
Her 14.45 100 Meter Hurdle time is a school record, surpassing Hall of Famer Ashley Ferda.
Earlier this sesaon, Bergland claimed the school record in the 300 Hurdles, besting Courtney Ferda's long standing time.
She also helped both the 4x100 and 4x400 Relay Teams to 3rd place finishes and was 6th in the 200.
Avery Orme took 6th in the 100 and was 4th in the Triple Jump. Brooklyn Shoff was 5th in the 400.
Kendall Dye was 6th in the 800.
On the boys side, Colby Minton was 2nd in the 200 and 6th in the 400. He also helped lead the 4x400 relay team to a 6th place finish.
