Week 2 of the High School Football season will see the Whitefish Bulldogs travel to Eureka for a match-up with the Lincoln County Lions.
The Dawgs enter the contest 1-0 on the season after a 27-7 win over Hamilton in the season opener.
Eureka enters this contest 1-0 on the season after defeating Bonners Ferry, ID., in week 1, 39-6.
Eureka is coming off a 2023 season that saw them go 9-2 overall, including the playoffs. They would lose in the quarterfinals to Jefferson by a final of 33-32 in overtime.
Eureka returns a strong junior class and should be in the mix for a State Title in the Class "B" ranks this year.
Last year Eureka would win this match-up by a final of 32-6.
The Dawgs showed in their opening week game, that they have what it takes to make some noise in Class "A". Led by a bevy of seniors, the Dawgs look to improve on a solid week one performance.
