Last weekend, Class "A" Tennis Teams gathered in Billings for the 2025 State Championship Tournament.
The Whitefish Bulldog Boys Tennis team won the 2025 State Championship Crown.
The Whitefish Lady Bulldogs took 3rd place overall.
The Bulldog Boys accumulated 21 team points to take the title. One more than 2nd place Stevensville. Libby and Havre tied for 3rd.
On the girls side, it was Miles City winning the team title with Hamilton 2nd.
Taking a look at the top performers for the Dawgs.
Jack Oehlerich was the top placer for the boys, finishing 2nd place overall. He fell to Libby's Ryan Beagle in the title match 6-3, 6-1.
Owen Erickson finished in 5th place for the Dawgs. He defeated Stevensville's Riccardo Slanzi for 5th place, 6-3, 1-6, 6-4.
On the girls side, the doubles tandem of Maggie Mercer and Camry Kelch took 3rd place overall. They defeated Morris/Sloan of Miles City 6-0, 6-1 for the consolation.
Leisl Brust took 5th, individually, for the girls defeating Ramsey Pryor of Miles City 6-3, 6-1.
