Whitefish Vs. Hamilton Football Preview

The Whitefish Bulldog Football teams returns home for a Week 2 meeting with the Hamilton Broncs.

The Dawgs are coming off a contest vs. Havre last week that was cancelled due to the weather.

Whitefish trailed 21-7 at the time of the cancellation.

Cole Moses showed early signs of dominance rushing the ball 3 times for 72 yards and a touchdown.

Hamilton is coming off a 51-0 drubbing of Ronan.

Hamilton's Jackson Lubke is coming off a stellar performance that saw him catch 3 passes for 127 yards and two TD's. He also had a 45-yard punt return for a touchdown and had a 40-yard interception return for a TD.

These two teams have met in each of the last three seasons

• 2024 season opener: Whitefish delivered a strong season-opening performance on the road, defeating Hamilton 27–7. QB Carson Gulick threw for 258 yards and three touchdowns, and added a rushing TD. The Bulldogs outgained the Broncs 361–316, though Hamilton managed more passing yards and tallied a late TD. Whitefish benefitted from Hamilton’s 3 lost fumbles, despite both teams throwing one interception each.

• 2023 season opener: Hamilton got the better of Whitefish, winning 21–7. It was a home opener for the Bulldogs.

• 2022 playoffs: Hamilton edged Whitefish 34–20 in the Class A state quarterfinal. A crucial fourth-down stop thwarted a potential comeback by the Bulldogs
