    Whitefish Wrestling Opens Season at Owen Invite

    The Whitefish Bulldogs and area wrestling teams got their 2022-23 season underway, this weekend, as they were in Polson for the Owen Invitational.

    Ronan would win the team title with Frenchtown 2nd and Eureka 3rd. Columbia Falls would finish in 4th with Whitefish 15th.

    The Bulldogs had two wrestlers place and they were:

    Landree Aurand-1st place at 132 pounds.

    Henry Bennetts- 6th place at 170 pounds.

    Over on the girls side, it was Ronan, Polson and Browning finishing 1st through 3rd with C-Falls 5th.

    Whitefish had both their female wrestlers place with Taylor Dorvall taking 3rd at 126 pounds while Samantha Bennetts finished 5th.
