The Whitefish Lady Bulldogs have clinched the No. 3 Seed for the State Tournament with a 39-37 win over Bigfork.
The Lady Dawgs, fresh off their gritty win vs. Columbia Falls were matched-up with Bigfork in the Consolation Championship.
Whitefish entered the contest tired but had their eyes on the prize.
For the first time in over a decade the Lady Dawgs will bring home hardware: A third place Divisional Tournament Trophy.
For the thrid time this season the Lady Dawgs and Valkyries went toe-to-toe and just like the first two times meeting number 3 did not dissapoint.
Avery Orme scored 10 of her game high 17 in the frist quarter, banking in a 3 to beat the 1st quarter buzzer.
Bigfork would counter in the 2nd quarter, outscoring Whitefish by 6 in the frame and took a 23-17 lead into the halftime locker-room.
The third quarter was an evenly played frame with each team exchaning buckets. Allie Shors would heat up scoring 8 of her 11 in the frame. Whitefish trailed 33-29 entering the 4th.
Like earlier in the day, the Lady Dawgs had one final push. Whitefish held Bigfork to just 4, 4th quarter points.
Reese Hudson hit the go ahead 3 to put them up 38-37, knocked down a free throw with 2 seconds to go and the Lady Dawgs held on for the victory.

With the win the Whitefish Lady Bulldogs will now match-up with Havre in the first round of the State Tournament. Live from the Four Seasons Arena, in Great Falls, tip-off is scheduled for 6:30pm
