    Whitefish Volleyball Clinches No. 4 Seed for Divisionals

    The Whitefish High School Volleyball team played host to Ronan, Saturday afternoon, for the Divisional Tournament Play-In.

    Allie Shors had 25 assists and 11 digs and the Lady Dawgs powered their way to a 3 game sweep of the Maidens: 25-9, 25-17, 25-16.

    The Lady Dawgs got off to an impressive start dominating the 1st set and never looked back.

    According to Head Coach Addy Connelly: "Whitefish came ready to play today. Allie Shors mixed up the sets today getting all hitters opportunities to put the ball away. Annabelle Barrile started us out in game one with a huge run of serves to get the momentum going.  The Bulldogs adjusted well to their hitters and had a lot of block touches that forced Ronan to scramble. Freshman Avery Orme is finding a comfortable rhythm in the middle and taking care of business."

    Camry Kelch finished with 9 kills, 8 digs and 2 blocks.

    Annabelle Barrile had 4 kills, 3 blocks, 2 digs and an ace.

    Avery Orme had 6 kills while Sol Holmquist added 4.

    With the win, the Whitefish Volleyball team enters the Divisional Tournament as the No. 4 Seed out of the Northwest "A".

    They will match-up with Frenchtown in the 1st round, on Thursday at 12 noon.

    The Divisonal Touranment takes place in Libby Thursday through Saturday. This is a double elimination tournament with the top 4 teams advancing to state.
