It was Senior Night, Tuesday, as the Whitefish High School Volleyball team played host to their rivals, Columbia Falls, to close out the regular season.

The Whitefish Volleyball team staged a comeback for the ages as they rallied to defeat the Columbia Falls Wildcats, in 5 sets, sending off the seniors the right way.

Whitefish trailed 2 games to 0, as C-Falls looked to be in full control.

The Dawgs huddled up prior to the start of the third set and just kept pushing.

Whitefish won Set 3, 25-19 and took set 4, 25-21.

Set 5 was all Whitefish. The Dawgs took control late in the set and gutted their way to a 15-10 victory in the final set.

All 5 Seniors: Camry Kelch, Eleanor Archie, Sol Holmquist, Aubrey Talbot and Anna Shestak, got the start in the contest. And all five played huge roles.

Kelch had 16 digs to go along with her 14 kills.

Archie led the team in digs with 23.

Holmquist was balanced all night with 3 aces, 5 kills, 3 blocks and 4 digs.

Talbot tallied 7 digs and an assist.

Shestak was a force in the middle all night.

Following all the action Columbia Falls has clinched the No. 3 seed out of the Northwest "A" for the Divisional Tournament.

Whitefish will now take part in the play-in.

Whitefish hosts Browning Thursday night at 6pm.

Win and move on, lose and you're eliminated.

Winner of Whitefish vs. Browning will play against the winner of Libby/Ronan, on Saturday.

If Whitefish advances to Saturday's contest, that game will be broadcast live on 102.7FM and 1240AM Outlaw Country.
